Overthinking

Why do people over think simple situations. Some things are just plain, simple, straight forward. No need to get more in detail than necessary. Which leads to more people misunderstanding what you are saying versus what you think you are saying. Too much complication in the wording, do what you say mean what you say. Too many different ideas too many perspectives that conflict  causing more issues than necessary. Decide something and stick with it quit leaving all this gray area. Deal with it everything changes no matter what you.

Intimidating

Why do I give off an intimidating vibe is it because I have so much and I am determined. I scare more guys of before they even get a chance to know me and find out that I am a down to earth laid back woman. Having a house, car, multiple jobs, no kids; I guess it puts off a vibe that I am better than other people when by in no means do I feel that way. I have my problems and insecurities just like other people I chose not to put them on display for everyone to see or read about. I like to keep to myself and handle my problems myself. I have learned that I am stronger than I appear. I can handle a variety of things and do everyday. I have learned to do things for myself so that they get done, not because I don't trust or need others it is just the way I was raised do it for yourself and you will know that it got done correctly and how you wanted it to. I teach myself how to do alot of things that the average female can't or won't do. I don't have time to wait for someone else to come do things for me especially if I want them done now. And when I mean now I mean now. Not tomorrow, not at your convenience now. This is why I just have decided to do things for myself. So if that makes me unapproachable then I will deal with it, I am just doing what I know how to do. I was taught well and know what I deserve and won't stop until I get there and get it. I Am On A Mission and I Choose To Accept It.

Just Being Me...Since It Is All I Know, I Am Going To Make It, By Any Means Necessary

Assuming

Why do people automatically assume I am gay just because I played basketball, single and I like to dress comfortably. I don't dress to impress others when I am on my down time I like to dress so I am comfortable even if that is wearing boys shorts as they are called. I am who I am for me and no one else. If you would get to know me you would know that I am just a normal gurl that works, and chills. I don't go out much I stay in the house and chill, it is free and I can do what I want at home for free, for the most part since it has already been paid for. I am just a tomboy nothing more, I am attracted to men not women. I dress in what I like to wear, I am not the most girly person but that doesn't mean I am gay. I am in no means gay or homophobic, I just dress for myself and no one else. My motto is if you like me you will like me no matter what I am wearing. What happened to it is what is on the inside that counts, looks aren't everything. By no means am I an ugly person don't get me wrong. I am just a normal late 20 year old woman that works, has hobbies, feelings and things I want to accomplish in my life. So if I don't show you the time of day don't automatically jump to I am a lesbian cuz I won't give you any or deal with your nonsense. I know what I want and have worked to hard for what I have to stop now.

It's called determination and I have no time for your mess, I have enough on my own and don't deal with drama. I choose to be single rather than deal with your drama whatever it may be. Get on my level and maybe we can talk, but don't just through out I am gay because I don't want anything to do with you or your nonsense.

Mission Accomplished

Well I didn't brick the computer so I guess my day was a success. Went on a whim and upgraded an XP box, the upgrade is a simple process no hiccups as of yet. We will see how the computer acts tomorrow and the next couple of days before I put it into production for a user. But the computer should work enough memory it treated the upgrade as it did when I was doing a re.upgrade of a previously downgraded macine . We shall see. All and all a success.

Unusual Circumstance

During my many games of officiating today I witnessed my wierdest event by far. A girl got her weave knocked out. I wanted to call something but I am unsure what the protocol is for such an infraction. I think I was in shock the player did get tangled up but no foul I wanted to call a foul but I couldn't think of what mechanic I would use and what he foul would be. I wonder???

Bad Basketball

Some kids jus not need to every pick up a basketballagain. Give it up its not your forte. Try something else, the sport is not for everyone some need not apply. Try your talents elsewhere it might serve u better. Maybe its jus not for you play for yourself not anyone else and you will succeed at anything you do. At some point you have to make a decision and decide who and why you are playing and for what reason should help this choice move smoothly

Windows 7 Update

Well tonight I'm attempting upgrade my old laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 7. Why you ask because I'm not a fan of vista plus the laptop keeps freezin up and I am tired of trying to fix it and get it functional. Plus an upgrade writes new windows system files. Plus I have no other use and its a test to see how the process goes and how difficult it is to upgrade a laptop versus a desktop. So far it seems the same.

Randomness

Some more random thoughts need to figure out how to get a ladder over my house so I can clean out my gutters. Looks like a mini garden need to rectify that situation. Making my whole house look bad. Plus I'm the corner house gotta look sharp so I can gain some haters. Making small steps to fix my house up. Outside in is the way I am gonna do it, baby steps I am taking little by little I will get there. I am doin it for me and no one else that is why I am gonna get it done.

Does It Matter

Why are some people so concerned with who knows what. Is it that big of a deal, it happened get over it. I would have found out anyway not like I don't come over the house regularly. Jus funny how the first words were don't tell Alicia. Really who am I what am is gonna do. Add it to the list its too long to keep up with wut number it would b but it does make a funny story. One to laugh about 4 days and days. Own up to it and move on

Keyboard Shortcuts

Do you use keyboard shortcuts while using your computer throughout the day. I do they make easy steps easier and require less effort. I kike shortcuts I have even created a few of my own on my personal computers. Things I do alot to make regular steps easier and less time consuming to and more productive. Since I work on computers during the day I like shortcuts to make the same tasks go faster if u have to do them multiple times in a day. Random Driving Adventures

<p>While on the highway back from Cleveland I saw an overly petty driver who refused to get out of the fast lane once a car behind them flashed their lights. The two care proceeded to tailgate each other back and forth until the newer Audi flew past the older Pontiac putting an end to the driving hissy fit. Made my day as I looked back in the rear mirror to see this spectacle which went on for about 3 miles. Great times don't know why I got so much joy out of that. But I did and I liked it even though I thought it wuts gon to lead to an accident but it didn't and the joy wuz gon once the Audi sped off and left the Pontiac in its dust.

Oh So Tired

Oh I am so tired, all these jobs and lack of sleep are gettin to me. I need a break a day where I do nothing but sleep to recouperate. I need sleep and rest what to do what to do. It is

Multiple Jobs

<p>&lt;p&gt;I have a ton of jobs, sometimes I wonder why and where all the money goes. It feels like all I do is work where is the reward where is my life I'm n my late 20's. I should be hangin out wit my friends not workin all the time and jus kickin it at home all the time when I'm not workin. But I work hard for what I have and I want more and will not settle for less. I have accomplished alot in my young life and I want and I will keep going until I reach my peak and I make it.

Let Me Be Me

All I ask is let me be me. You have known me for all my .life don't act like my lifestyle and attitude jus happened overnight I have been this way for awhile. I have not changed jus evolved myself as I have gotten older. I have gotten snappier, more smug more smart ass but I have always been myself no matter what despite popular belief. I am not trying to be something I'm not just being the best me I can be despite all of life's obstacles. The good the bad and all that in between. I Am What I Am.

Real Job

I do have a real job you know. Yes I am an IT person but I am not alwayz updating websites. I can not at the drop of a hat and update the website. Yes u pay me a retainer fee each year but that truly does not cover all that I update and do on the website this is a seriously reduced fee. Don't go over board and get antsy when I can not change things on the website immediately. I have to do the job that pays the bills first, then onto the side hustle that funds my extra electronic things.

A Bit Of Randomness

It has been an interesting day, work was great fun random program issue that we haven't seen before after a windows 7 re-upgrade after an initial downgrade to XP. Now back to Win 7 since we are in the updating to Win 7 of all systems. Oh the fun I have with my job. Mondays are so much fun and eventful. Then gettin home n Cuttin my grass some random people jus chillin outside kinda weird and creepy. Then a random lady walking down the street n jeans and jacket. Then bout 20 min later if that coming back up the street sayin have u seen my car I think someone stole my car. Is this a safe neighborhood? Jus a day full of weird, random, creepy, jus plain strange events to conclude my Monday.

People Watchin

Oh how I enjoyed myself last nite during my people watchin time aka bartending shift. It amazes me how some people can't do a dance that tells u how to do it in the lyrics; cha cha slide, casper shuffle,jus a couple I witnessed last nite. The DJ having to stop the song and say everyone face the DJ table we r goin to start over so they all go the right way and get the danceright. How entertaining is that? Of made my night and whole day. HILARIOUS. Then to top it off a couple of the reception attenders asking me to come from behind the bar and show them how to do a couple of the dances. Good thing they didn't play teach me how to doughier. I would have lost it. But there were a couple that were gettin it in. Doin The Jerk, The Wobble, Bootycall

Hardware Headache

Oh the joy of PC hardware, what's the point of selling a video card with 3 outputs but only being able to use 2 of the outputs simultaneously. The kicker not putting it on any of the information about the product, specs, description. Probably should put that on the box n the product specifications or descriptions. Put it somewhere so it is known before buying the product and expecting to be able to use all 3 outputs at the same time. Driving myself crazy over the whole issue. Now it all makes sense after the hours and days of trying to get the video card to work with 3 monitors. Makes you wanna pull your hair out or hit something several times over and over again to relieve all your frustration.

Irony

Oh how I love the irony of being an IT Specialist working on others peoples workstation and office equipment all day. I come home and don't have the urge to look at a computer let alone fix one even if it is my personal laptop. From computers, software, hardware, applications and other IT related issues. Jus wanna come home ans relax and not think about computer issues. Its funny and ironic that a IT person with a non functioning computer. But then I thought about it a lot of people with skill professions don't like to work on the problem or issue that is their job in their work life.

Life Lesson

Today's life lesson...forgive forget but always remember so not to repeat. It is important part of life to forgive and forget as to not hold grudges. It takes a load off to just forgive and forget and let go of the past and move on as a person and develop more as you are to continue to develop and evolve. Evolution is the key to success evolve in learning day to day life and bein the person who you are.

I forgive, forget and remember as not to repeat past mistakes in the future. I don't like to continue past mistakes  making new mistakes and learning from the old ones is how I grow and continue to move and press on.

Productivity

Word of the day is productivity I got everything done around the house that I wanted to. From cutting the grass doing my laundry cooking food for the week. Wow I was way more productive than I planned today. And on so little sleep I am so proud of myself. Giving my self a standing ovation Bravo Bravo Bravo. Have you had a day where u got everything you wanted to get done finished and then some. Well that was me today I was on it. Knocked it all out, I feel good now to reward myself. What should I do hmmmm. Ill think of something. Yeah for me.

It just feels good to get everything off my to do list before the work week starts and I back to runnin round like crazy I feel.

Warm Weather

What is it about the warm weather that means less and less clothing is worn at Receptions. The outfits that are out now and it isn't even that warm yet
Its just a taste of what is to come I don't wanna see wut the hot weather brings.

I don't know if I can take it well my eyes is the question. It will a show for sure I can say that much without seeing it yet but it is coming

Damn You Skinny Jeans

Damn you skinny jeans, how I loathe thee. I should be able to wear them with ease. But no these muscular calves of mine make it hard to wear them. Always having to adjust them becomes very annoying. Skinny jeans are evil and whoever made them should be slapped multiple times with random objects. Hand, chair, book, shoe, really whatever is in reach. And as public service announcement everyone doesn't need to wear skinny jeans they don't look right on all sizes I'm sorry that is just my opinion.

New Laptop

When it came down to it I picked the model and brand for a laptop that I was familiar with and that I liked and that has gotten me through the last couple of years. I manage to keep electronics for awhile especially due to the fact that I am a IT person and can pretty much fix any problem that may arise with a laptop if I feel like taking the time and doing it after a long day of work. Just don't seem to have the urge to work on my own computer or a friend or family member after a day of work and looking at a computer screen or hardware issues all day. Just is funny that I can have  a broken PC at home but don't wanna fix it and when I get to work I  them since it is my job and I do it on a daily basis. Now since I have a new laptop which is the same model & brand as my previous laptop just newer and better operating system. I think I am going to try and fix my old laptop and maybe even put Windows 7 on it so it is of more use to me than it currently is now as a paper weight. A overly expensive piece of technology that is outdated but still in good working condition just have to fix it. Think I am going to do a complete system wipe and start from scratch literally, only download the necessary software, and of course some that aren't necessary but ones I like to have and need for my computing purposes. When it came down to the decision I it based on specifications and the same model and brand that I used for years prior had the better equipment and worked for my currently needs. I look at specs and make the best educated choice based on my needs. Which can be completely different from another user that has other purposes for a laptop than my needs are. Everyone is different, you might pick a piece of equipment based purely on price and not care at all what the brand & model is. The choice is yours make it and love the equipment

Anger Management

How do you manage your anger. What do you do to manage your anger. We all have different techniques that we use I have changed my anger managing techniques over time just a bit. A minor tweak since I am older and need to act like it and not show frustration. I use working out as my go to now a days, listenin to rock or rap, writing pretty much anything I can do low-key to get my mind off the situation that upset me. I use to snap and go off the deep edge instantly when I was in school and played sports. I hit various objects, threw things punched objects, i have broke my thumb several times due to anger and frustration that has hit. Do you have a temper how do you get over it. I have found other ways to work through anger as I have matured and gotten older and smarter in my life. Working out, meditation, writing, taking some time to myself, these are my current stress relievers. What do you do, do you even know what you do or how you manage your anger or stress.
